Why raise the difficulty of cooking when you haven't successfully completed the salad stage yet?

It's astonishing that someone is worse at cooking than Shion. Luna has a remarkable talent for transforming any ordinary dish into a bizarre creation, like turning a fried egg into a tree that sprouts bowling balls or something. As for Kikura, it was quite amusing to see her wearing a collar and blushing like that. And why does Phoenix look more appealing in a pigeon style? Opt for the drumstick edition.

Hope to see more of that doctor in the future.

Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou

Man, I kinda digged Phoenix's new appearance for this episode, but his reaction on that first look was very out-of-character. Then again, Phoenix's character is just hilarious, especially with the entrance "quack" and walking sound effects, which is about half the reason why I watch this anime. As for the second half, the whole examination was absurd yet the only thing to turn Phoenix back was just taking care of some business. Though that being said, Kicla's response kinda reminded me of this absurdity. But I wonder who is this "you-know-who" Alyssa & Luna were talking about since, sadly, we only have four more episodes left of this anime—let's see how that turns out.

Also, a nice assortment for the post-credit's "でこぼこ童話劇場" segment, taking renditions of regular fairy tales, though I must give props to the narrator for her exclamation at the beginning of the "金の斧、銀の斧、第３の OH! NO!!" segment.

This episode was stupidly funny for me and the new doctor is a riot, loved the short moments of Giriko saying "yahho" after getting the rare material from Luna and when Alyssa was hugging protecting Viola from the explosion and she just says "mama".

Most of the humor actually worked for me this week. Nurse’s sister was down bad for Phoenix lol. And even in a fairytale poor Fennel can’t catch a break. The preview for next week implied Alyssa‘s dreaded visitor is a “he”, so guessing it’s her dad.

Genuinely hilarious episode from start to finish. Went by in a flash. Kicla was a revelation in this one. All her degenerate and depraved teasing was a sight to behold. Comedy really landed this week, well tbf it always lands for me. Wish this show was more popular it deserves more attention

I think the Snow White bit at the end is the first time this show has made me laugh.

I wish the rest of the humour resonated with me seeing as the whole show revolves around it.

Well that was one doctor i rather stay away from.
Phoenix will probably have a hard time in the future with her around.

The cooking part was also hectic Alyssa should do something about her stress levels because this isn't good for her.

I think that Luna must somehow inadvertently be putting magical spells on the food that she makes because I don't know how else to explain her bad cooking lol. At least Phoenix went back to normal after pooping Luna's "hamburg" steak but not before dealing with crazy Kicla whom hitched a ride on him...

From those fairy tale shorts at the end I liked Snow White the best.

I kinda wanted Phoenix to just be stuck that way forever. Though makes it hard for him to do some of his goofy neck things. I wonder of Kicla is going to stalk Phoenix now

The main segments were "only" good today, but I loved the Irregular Fairy Tails! Putting comedy characters into fairy tales is nothing new, but something that should be utilized more often!

Cockatiel Phoenix was really cute though ^-^

Luna wanting Alyssa to teach her how to cook, she's good at fortune-telling, but the price to pay is her cooking, and whatever she tries to make, it's beyond bad. But driving Luna off would be impolite, and both mother and daughter try to teach her some other food. As the difficulty amps up, no matter how simple nor difficult it is to make, the food will end up looking and tasting weird. And when Phoenix tries it, he descends into a whole other being. Luna's reasoning for cooking though, it's for someone, though Alyssa is acting weird about it.

Phoenix going for a doctor's assessment under Myconid nurse Sheeta, and then passing onto her sister Kicla for her experiments, she's dangerous being that Sheeta can only control her. Kicla is too eager to perform on Phoenix, yet he takes up the challenge and plays with her...while her insanity can be switched instantly. But at least Pheonix is senseful to only give to those who need it, and Kicla is a thirsty nurse at that who's gone out of control. Onto the real mushroom Doctor Benny, all's well that ends well for Phoenix.

The end-credits fairy tale skits were hilarious as heck, especially Alyssa Riding Hood, and Fennel always acting like the hero but always stopped by Viola.
